The Ross School of Business announced today that it has returned the Class of 2006's gift of a 9-piece Henckel's cutlery set. "Look, it was a nice thought, but frankly we were expecting cash," said Ross Dean Bob Dolan. "I even thought about keeping it for myself, but my wife said the set we have at home is nicer," Dolan continued. "The Class of 2005 gave us $237,300. I bought my wife a new Lexus. Now that's a class gift."

When reached at his current job for comment, Class of 2006 SGA president Branton Cole said: "I really can't believe they brought it back. I mean, I went down to Sears and bought those knives myself. They were really nice. You should see how they sliced tomatoes. That school's administration is a bunch of ingrates."

The school is reporting that they will use the $299.99 plus tax that they received in refund to finance the cream cheese for 2008's complimentary Monday morning bagels. The administration would like to thank the Class of 2006 for paying cash for the gift which made the transaction easier. They also would like to remind the Class of 2007 to include a receipt with whatever they decide to give.
