ANN ARBOR, Mich. - It's that time of year again, when rowdy b-school students gather together in a dark, smoky bar on the other side of town for one night of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll! The 2007 Rock 'n' Roll B-School will be here this Thursday, November 15th, 2007.
Rock 'n' Roll B-School is the ugly stepchild among the business school comedy show family. The R-rated content promises to push the boundaries of political correctness and physical comfort. There will be two back-to-back shows, running approximately 90 minutes in length. The shows will consist of live sketch comedy and rockin' live music, lampooning everything business and business school related, including the MBA social scene, recruiting, globalization, and discrimination in the workplace. Truly, no one is safe from this hilarious satire.
"We made an effort to recruit the sexiest cast members. This way, even if our jokes fall short, the audience will still be entertained," explains Dayna Santoro, 2007 RnRBS Co-Director. "Just remember, the bar will be serving all night," says Jason Dishlip, 2007 RnRBS Co-Band Leader.
"I went to the early show last year and had a blast! I was so impressed by the amount of talent we have here at Ross," says Stella Zinger, MBA2. And by talent, we're not talking about calculating NPV or stimulating demand in the Big Picture! "This is your chance to check your laptop and your HP10BII at the door and actually party like a rockstar," explains Matt Schaar, MBA1 cast member.
Tickets are on sale from 12-4 pm Monday to Thursday in the Executive Residence Lobby at the Business School. The show will be held at the Blind Pig, which is located at 208 S. First Street between Liberty and Washington. For more information about the 2007 Rock 'N' Roll B-School, email rockstars@umich.edu.
